The board discovers its own Wi-Fi address when it starts and scrolls it across the selected display. If the board is offline, it shows “NO IP”.

01 / CONNECT

Join your Wi-Fi

Pico W and Pico 2 W use the saved Wi-Fi network. Pico, Pico 2, and Waveshare RP2040-Matrix have no Wi-Fi and display NO IP; use USB to upload.

02 / READ

See the address

Your current LAN IP scrolls across the display in the color and speed you choose.

03 / REUSE

Upload your next program

Use the displayed address for Wi-Fi uploads on W boards, or connect any supported board over USB.

Find your board’s address

Choose a recent address from the field’s suggestions, or find the board in your router’s connected-device list. You can also follow the LAN IP Display instructions. Sending LAN IP Display replaces the program currently on your board.
